Many thanks to neighbor Vincent Casalaina for the video. You can check out our other videos here and here. And, if you've got the time for it, here's the debate among all candidates at the League of Women Voters.
Meet and Greets
Let's Get Together and Talk About ... You
There are about 10,000 registered voters in District 8 and I want to meet as many of you as possible in person, over the phone, by email, on Facebook, or by text.
Why I Am Running For District 8
I am running because I believe passionately in public service: helping people, solving problems, and using my talents to improve our community and world. A Cal grad and MBA, entrepreneur and community activist, I've lived in the south campus neighborhood for 30 years. I love this community and would be thrilled to represent you as your councilmember.
As you'll see on the Bio page, I've served on all the major commissions and have been a business and community leader for decades.
On the Issues page, you'll see what I'm passionate about.
One has to pursue one's dreams. After all, we only get so many times around the sun.
I'll See You on the Campaign Trail
As you peruse this site, I think you'll see that I've got the energy, education, and life experience to be of service to District 8. I very much hope we can take the conversation out of cyberspace and into good, old-fashioned, one-on-one communication. Getting to know you is one of the joys of the campaign and of public office.
You've got my info -- what are you waiting for? I want to hear from you!
